About Scoot Bike Skate
Hi I’m Tracey, mum of two young children (one boy and one girl) and self-proclaimed balance bike guru. When it comes to my kids (ok every part of my life really), I’m a massive over-researcher. I want to know when I buy a product it’s the most suitable on the market for my needs, its good value for money (and sometimes that means spending a little and other times spending a lot) and it comes highly reviewed from others, with safety at the forefront.
How Did Scoot Bike Skate Start?
After doing hours of research for our sons first balance bike and seeing how many questions were asked about balance bikes for kids in my mums’ groups on Facebook, I though why waste all of my hard work. So, Scoot Bike Skate was born for me to share all the great knowledge I now had about the best balance bikes on the market.
Our son got his toddler training bike for his second birthday. These days he zooms around on anything with wheels. He still loves his pedal-less bike, especially at the pump track but our backyard is also littered with other kids’ wheels including a 3 wheeled scooter, two-wheel scooter, toddler trike, bigger kids’ trike with trailer, Little Tikes cars and even a ride on tractor.
I’m sure it won’t be long before we are adding BMX bikes, skateboards and rollerblades to the mix amongst other things.
We also have a younger daughter who is enjoying following her brothers’ footsteps from baby trike onwards.
As a bike-mad family of four, we spend lots of our day riding up and down our laneway or in the yard Weekends are spent at skateparks or playgrounds with bike tracks. We also love biking along the foreshore area and bushland cycle pathways near our house.
